Jenny Reeves designs artful jewelry for everyday wear. By fusing layers of Argentium sterling silver and 18K gold, she creates rich stone textures that are balanced by clean lines and classical proportions. Each piece is hand-crafted from recycled metals with meticulous attention to detail.
A Philadelphia native, Jenny moved to San Francisco and had many jobs - lifeguard, accountant, bartender, muralist - before discovering a passion for metalsmithing. The rugged beauty of the city’s windswept coast and it’s ornate architecture inform her aesthetic and provide constant inspiration.
Jenny began working with Argentium sterling silver while attending the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts. Best known for tarnish-resistance, it was the alloy’s exceptional fusing properties that enthralled her. Through four years of experimentation and refinement she developed the unique textures that define her signature style, and now teaches Argentium 1 and 2 at the Revere Academy. Full circle!
Her work has been featured in Metalsmith, MJSA, and Lapidary Journal magazines, in craft shows, galleries, and exhibitions. In addition to the Contemporary Jewelry Design Group, she is a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG), the Metal Arts Guild and the Argentium Guild
